Meet the Leadership
Chandan Kuchina is a Freshman at the Center for Leadership, Governemnt, and Global Economics at Freeman high school and is pleased to lead STEM Z. He is a avid debater, public speaker, volunteer, and also a coach.
Akshaya Muniganti is a sophomore at Deep Run High School. She has an avid passion for STEM and hope to create a difference in the world through STEM Z. Apart from STEM, she enjoys public speaking, dancing, singing, and MUN.
Sriram Darsi is a freshman at Henrico High School and hopes to follow the mission of STEM Z in order to shape the future. Apart from STEM, he takes part in Model UN, TSA, STEM fairs, and plays volleyball, basketball, and cricket.
Harshitha Karru is a sophomore at Deep Run High School. She is excited to join STEM Z and help students around the world. She has also been dancing for many years, likes community service, and is a part of TSA.
About STEM Z
STEM Z is a non-profit organization that was founded by Sahithi Sarva, Sriya Darsi, and Vivek Bachhu. It is currently led by Chandan Kuchina, Sriram Darsi, Harshitha Karru, and Akshaya Muniganti, We are based in Richmond, Virginia and we focus on teaching KG-8th grade students the basics of STEM. Throughout this process, we hope that students will gain a passion and interest in STEM. Additionally, we hope that we can help them further develop their education. Through this organization, we hope to achieve giving students a well-rounded insight into STEM. We teach students from all over the world and are always looking for new students! STEM Z has taught over 550 students from all over the world including Dubai, California, Virginia, Canada, and Maine! Although our main goal with this organization is to teach and spread our passion for STEM, having students from all over the world helps our students gain immense knowledge and an outsiders' perspective on the real world!
